Another Fallen ‘Star’

                                        

Former Lost star Michelle Rodriguez began her 180 day sentence of jail time last week in a detention facility, the same that Paris Hilton was in. First of all, you know your not a very big star if the first statement about your jail time is that you’ve stepped foot in the same spot Paris Hilton has. And second, if she was at all a big star, she would not be in jail for 6 months. What celebrity gets 180 days of jail? Everyone knows money can buy celebrities out of prison, so I’m thinking either she didn’t have enough bribery money (because she doesn’t make top dollar) or even if she did offer up a pretty penny, no one really knew who she was. I mean honestly, she was in Lost for like 7 episodes and that’s her claim to fame? Bai Ling was in an episode of Lost and you know how I feel about her.

And one other side note to add insult to injury, her real name is ‘Mayte”. You learn something new everyday.

Tila Tequila; Gay is OK!

                               

Honestly, why do people watch MTV? Any Tila Tequila fans out there? Didn’t think so. Consider this just another hate letter directed to MTV.

Tila Tequila, famous for god knows what had a reality show in which she would date several people and then pick a mate. Sound familiar, yes it does. Among the countless other dating shows, this one stood out because, gasp she’s bisexual! And she got to choose from boys and girls! In the end she did take the more socially acceptable route, choosing the man.

My reason for hating this show, is not only is she someone who has used up her 15 minutes of fame (and I’m serious when I say, what the hell is she famous for?!) but this is MTV’s way of reaching out and becoming accepting of gay people. Think of it as MTV teaching it’s millions of morally doomed viewers that, ‘Hey, gay people are human too’.

And on top of that, she’s BISEXUAL. Please, that’s not gonna win any of us gay people over. MTV, your just as shallow as ever.

Survivor: Mullet Edition

                               

If anyone out there still watches Survivor, you all got to witness ‘Lunch Lady Denise’ fib her way to $50,000. Apparently in the finale of the show, while being interviewed, she said she was demoted from her job at a school cafeteria, to a janitor after taking time off to be on the show. Feeling bad for her, the producers gave her 50 grand.

 Afterwards, people began to find out she wasn’t telling the truth. She actually requested to be a janitor before leaving for the show. When that news came out she decided to donate the money to charity.

I say, cut her some slack, she could have used that money for important things. Like building a time machine to take her back to 1986 when mullets were acceptible in our society.
